Business Development Representative - Enterprise

Highwire is the Contractor Success Platform for builders and owners of capital projects. We are embarking on an exciting new phase of growth and looking for the best talent in Boston, Boise, and beyond. 


To support this growth, we are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative to help build and nurture our sales pipeline. You’ll be part of our foundational BDR team and your efforts will directly impact the bottom line of the organization.

Your mission:

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative your goal is to to help generate Annual Recurring Revenue by moving prospective clients into our sales pipeline. Our software serves the builders and owners of capital projects, and you’ll proactively source and engage these Hiring Partners across a variety of industry verticals (pharma, tech, higher ed, to name a few). 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a robust sales funnel. In partnership with the sales and marketing team, you will target specific buyer personas with cold outbound campaigns, and capitalize on inbound leads that are generated from digital campaigns and events. 
  • Deliver qualified meetings. You will be responsible for setting up meetings for Account Executives with prospective Hiring Partners. Through your targeted outreach, you’ll deliver 1-2 qualified meetings each week. 
  • Nurture existing pipeline. Our sales cycle is complex and can span several months. In order to keep prospects engaged you will research and engage with additional decision makers to strengthen the opportunity’s progression in our sales funnel.

  • Engaging communicator. You are creative in your outreach and comfortable navigating technical industry discussions with potential clients. Once a connection is made, your persuasive and professional communication will move them into our sales pipeline. 

  • Competitive. You don’t meet your goals, you crush them.  As one of the first Enterprise BDRs at Highwire, you relish the opportunity to set the bar high for future teammates and make an impact on Highwire’s bottom line.  

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has some introductory sales experience and is looking to advance their business development career by targeting large enterprise companies. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to crush their numbers, overcome objections, and doesn’t let a ‘no’ stop them from meeting their goals.


The on-target earning potential for this role is between $90,000k - $150,000k a year. The compensation package is a combination of base salary and commission. The exact breakdown of compensation will vary based on skills and experience. We are committed to hiring great talent and making a hire that is a fit for both parties.
