Highwire is the Contractor Success Platform for builders and owners of capital projects. We are embarking on an exciting growth phase and looking for the best talent in Boston and Boise. 

 

To support this growth, we’re looking for a competitive, adaptable, and driven individual to join our inside sales team of Assessment Specialists and grow our network of contractors. This is an ideal opportunity for someone just starting their sales career or transitioning from other industries like retail, restaurants, or hospitality.

Your mission:

Clients work with Highwire because our platform helps their contractors do better, safer work. Our Assessments team is the inside sales team dedicated to enrolling new contractors, renewing existing contractors, and proactively identifying opportunities to ensure contractors get the most value possible out of their experience with Highwire. As an Assessment Specialist, your mission is to expand the number of contractors using our platform through the renewal process. 

What you’ll do:

  • Crush your numbers. Inside sales is all about the numbers. You’ll have monthly sales goals and we’ll track your progress – and the progress of your teammates – on the Team Leaderboard. You'll earn uncapped commission for meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Handle objections. As with any sales job, you will sometimes encounter objections from customers. You’ll partner with our Account Managers and our clients to collaborate on solutions that enable us to successfully complete our renewal campaigns. 
  • Renew existing contractors. In order to ensure contractors renew their yearly subscription, they need to get a ton of value out of Highwire. You’ll help drive this value by seeking opportunities to educate, inform, and enhance their experience.

  • Resilient & optimistic. You have the grit to overcome objections and don’t give up when the going gets tough. You don’t easily take no for an answer and will continue to ask questions to discover opportunities to get to “yes.” 
  • Growth-minded. You’re someone who craves feedback from managers, peers, and mentors and is quick to implement change. You seek new perspectives and ideas, and want to grow your career within the company.  
  • A careful listener. Active listening is a core competency for any sales role. You’ll use your communication and emotional intelligence to surface relevant details, overcome objections, and empathize with the needs of our clients.

This is the perfect role for someone with some exposure to high-volume sales (telesales, business development) or other fast-paced customer-facing roles (retail, restaurants). More than anything, we’re looking for strong professional communication skills, a competitive nature, and a hunger to build a career in tech sales.
